Most often distributed by
hand, by mail, or in newspapers, flyers are designed to grab the
reader's interest and get a point across in a few seconds.
Generally, a good flyer is
concise with at least some print large enough to be seen several feet
away, especially if it is to be posted on a bulletin board.
Some flyers are distributed
via email, in which case there is more design flexibility with the use
of colors, highlighting and so on. Doing a printed flyer this way
can be costly, but is very effective online.
